FAQ

Q.How much of my item can you replicate with metal parts?
We mainly use metal parts in the blade center, and the center of the grip.
(We may be able to make the blade entirely out of aluminium depending on your project.)
Our main goal is to replicate the item closest to your imagination, and therefore we rely on materials that would achieve this the easiest.
If we were to use the original materials from in-game,
the paint would peel off easily and generally the difficulty of manufacturing increases tremendously.
This would be reflected in the costs.
(We usually use stainless steel as a blade center for our non-metallic projects.)
Q.What kind of materials do you use?
We mostly use Aluminium alloys, stainless steel, iron, ABS, plastics, wood, putty, polystyrene, paper, acryllic, fabric, rubber and steel wire.
Q.How do I pay, and how does shipping fees work?
This is covered in detail in our How it gets to you page.

-Regarding Shipping and Insurance-

Generally we prefer to use EMS for its relative cheapness, but we may have to use a different carrier in the following situations:
- Size and weight after packaging is more than the maximum allowed for EMS
- Destination country is restricted
- Insurance cover

Please keep in mind that we always build a special case for your model for that we use to ship with as well.
The size of the package will be the sum of the case and the cushioning material.

Situations where the shipping costs will increase by a lot:
- The length of the total package is longer than 150cm
- The total weight goes over 30kg
- The price of the model exceeds the maximum insurance cover of the shipping company

In situations like above we will have to use companies with their own chartered planes, such as DHL.
Please keep this in mind if you would like a larger sized model.

This is a super rough estimate, but an item that is roughly 120cm long, and 30cm wide in its case shipped on EMS will be about 50000 Yen.
For anything larger we will have to use DHL and it will cost more than 150000 Yen.

We do not cover for any damages done to the model during shipping.
Therefore we suggest you pick a carrier that has enough insurance cover.
Q.What happens to the insurance while shipping?
If using EMS, the cover will be based on what the maximum is for your destination country. (It will not be 100% of the original cost.)
Because all of our products are a one-off piece of artwork, some carriers may refuse to insure it.
We will ask you to make the decision on whether to use a carrier with a high insurance cover, or a cheaper carrier with less insurance.
We cannot directly cover for any damages done to the model while shipping.
If there are damages done to your model while shipping, we will do our best to get your model repaired within the confines of your insurance plan.
Q.Are there packaging fees?
Yes, there are separate packaging fees involved.
As all our projects come in different shapes and sizes, but roughly you can assume it to be about 6000 Yen.
For especially large projects, multiple projects, or projects with an unusual form, it may be more expensive.
Please note the quoted price does not include this fee.
We will make a special case to prevent damage to your item, and send it in this case.
Q.In what order do you work on the projects?
As a general rule, we work in the order of whichever project is signed first.
However, because different items need different work times and different parts from our partners, there may be a slight difference in the order that we work on projects.
Q.Do you provide any support after delivery?
If the damage is within boundaries of what we treat repairable, we will repair it once for just the cost of the materials.
From the second time we will charge a service fee on top of this.
If we deem the damage is irrepairable, we may refuse to repair your model.
We do not accept repair requests from anyone apart from the original owner.
We also do not accept repair requests for models that have been tampered by a third party.
Please note that we will not pay for shipping on repairs.
Q.Is it possible to modify my item after arrival?
We can modify your item only if it was ordered directly from us.
We will try to best fit your needs on the repainting, parts replacement etc. so please contact us again for a new quote.
Please note that not all items can be modified.
Q.Can I ask for modifications or parts for something I've made myself?
Generally, we refuse all orders that are
- for single parts
- for modifications of your own creation
- for modificatinos of a third party's creation.
Q.Why is it so expensive?
We only use manufacturing methods and materials that we deem are best fit for your very personal one-of-a-kind order.
Our objective is not to find ways to make something cheaper or quicker to make.
As a result, our quotations are not exactly cheap.
